I've owned the Celtic dagger for a few months now and have even taken it out for a test drive in -10'C weather.

I thus far have no complaints and would love to own a few of these for throwing.

The hilt is very pretty and I get a lot of compliments on the appearance.

What you can't see is the softness of the material used for the non-"blade" material. It is perfect for throwing. It feels a lot like blue camping foam. It resists tears and instead will bend and bounce back into shape immediately.

I often spend time tossing the dagger in the air from the handle and catching the blade. It's balanced enough to get the job done in terms of throwing.
