I really was attracted to the shape and size of this weapon based on the pictures from the site.

When I got it, I wasn't disappointed. It weighs a good amount for the size of the sword (not too light). The hilt / handle area is hard rubber, it is not safe for contact, but is comfortable to hold. The balance on the sword isn't too bad either (it balances ROUGHLY around 1/3 of the length in from the handle).

I found that the paint on my sword looked worn by the first day I got it, but, I don't really care about that. A friend got the same sword and their blade looked a lot more plastic, because the paint was so perfect on their's. So, really, if the paint wears down, it almost looks better over time. :)

In -10'C weather, we didn't have a problem using the sword. I'd like to put another review on here after the summer season is over. I would like to have the chance to see how it holds up against wear and tear. (Posted on 2/16/10)
