Well, finally took the plunge and bought one of the weapons here. Finally received it, and it was worth the wait.
The hilt is a hard rubber-like substance. Feels good in my hand, and I'm able to get both of my large hands around the hilt.
The curve of the blade is nice, and lends itself well to slashing. It's also much lighter then I expected, and balance at about a quarter of the way up the blade. I wish is what a little more tip heavy, but I understand for safety reasons that is not possible.
Really, the only compalints I have with teh weapon are cosmetic. There is a braided wire ring pattern around the hilt that is missing some sections. As well, there are bits of excess foam around the edge of the blade, though not much.
All in all, a beutiful weapon that I heartily recomend. (Posted on 6/11/10)
